Escape
My goodness this sunshine is making lockdown so much more bearable.
After a morning at my desk, I escaped into the sunshine for lunch. So glad I've finished the last book I was reading as it was pretty uninspiring. A day or two before lockdown I dashed to the library to grab a lockdown stash but unfortunately it was a manic dash around the shelves and so the standard has been somewhat average.
Had a good chat with my treasurer this morning and then she popped over this afternoon on her daily exercise to bring a book back that she'd borrowed. I was just about to go for my cycle ride so unfortunately I opened my front door in my cycling gear. Poor woman shouldn't have been exposed to that much lycra.
Delightful post-work cycle. I love watching how the fields are changing day-by-day as the farmers do their spring time work. Today a lot of the fields had been ploughed and prepared for planting and they looked to incredibly neat, like humongous pieces of art. Unfortunately, I was chasing Strava segments so didn't stop to take pictures.
The evening was spent pouring over maps to try and find some news routes.
