Gorgeous George

My last 24 hour shift for a while... I now have a week off and am loving the thought of being home for 8 whole nights in a row. 

The horses have all been basking in sunshine today and have all had a good groom and tidy up. Gorgeous joined me for the afternoon horse care and had a special treat for George. Strawberries, his absolute favorite. We usually do carrot stretches, today it was strawberry stretches.

So nice to see the grass coming through, the horses rapidly shedding their winter coats and being able to have them unrugged. All is good.
