Lockdown Day 24: Our Anniversary
Today we celebrated 26 years together. We may be under lockdown but we had a fantastic time and achieved all of our anniversary objectives (see extra) except one, which we will do tomorrow. I particularly liked our start to the day which consisted of listening to music and making a playlist of significant songs. The walk was lovely as well, warm and balmy weather and I managed to do 4K without too many problems, although my eyepatch did scare some younger children.
Lazing in the garden later there was a little bit of rain, just enough to invoke a hint of petrichor as we lay safely under tarpaulin whilst watching a video of Keir Starmer at last year’s Hay Festival.
Fun board games and a lovely supper cooked by Mystic Em in the early evening. Then we played kalooki, banged the drum for the NHS at 8pm, and watched an old movie - Air Force One. No one could’ve snarled "get off of my plane" better than Harrison Ford. And we have a soft spot for the dodgy CGI, particularly when people are jumping off the plane by parachute. Hilarious.
Great day. Great 26 years. Thank you TSM for every minute of it.
