Well the bikes saddle suspension wasn't a success. Its not that it didn't work as it certainly cushioned the bumps in the road but it was too bouncy when pedalling and I kept sliding foward on the saddle. It also made my legs and the small of my back ache as I was subconsciously trying to counteract the actions of the wallowing spring. So my first job of the day was to remove it. I think it would be OK on Roberts bike as its electric and I presume he peddals more slowly and not as hard. Still I tried it.
Yet more rubbing down of the Bentley today. It seems the more I do the more I find to do but each bit of filling is getting smaller and smaller. Hopefully the etching paint will arrive tomorrow and I can get back to spraying again.
As a bit of light relief from the Bentley I finished off the base for Ros' angle poise lamp that she was given by Brad my brother in law. I managed to fix a bracket to hold it on a circular wooden base and painted it to match. Hopefully it will be dry tomorrow ready for a second coat if needed.
We spent the evening as usual watching a series on TV.
