Sadly they are also the reason we can’t keep chickens or rabbits in the garden... they put a covenant on the land most of the houses in the village are built on, including ours.

Took delivery of a new phone today, and another fresh veg delivery. Made mixed veg soup (all the little bits left in the bottom of the fridge) for lunch with homemade cheese scones. Haven’t done much else except a lovely walk this evening , in what was probably the best part of the day.
