Macro Drop

I watched some YouTube videos on macro photography. An ordinary guy in an ordinary set up doing fantastic things with  dandelion seed heads.  I thought I'd give it a try.

Fiddly and nowhere near as straight-forward as it had looked.  Getting one dandelion seed head to stay in the right place and get it in focus was tricky enough - then to add one water drop and add some lighting as well was quite a challenge. After many poor attempts I managed a few which were reasonably successful.  I'll watch the videos again and have another try tomorrow.
