Springtime

Yesterday's meringue attempts were okay. The top was crispy and meringue-like, the bottom chewy and sticky. It made a delicious Eton mess type pud all the same.

Took advantage of a quiet evening for a brief stroll up Craiglockhart Hill. I was torn between the gorse flowers against the blue sky or the cherry blossom. I figured the gorse would be out for longer, but now I'm considering that the crystal clear blue sky may not be!
