Last days of the cherry blossom

The petals are falling as the leaves emerge.

A dull weather day. The soil was looking very dry so I decided some watering was needed. Of course it started raining. Which we were glad about. April shouldn’t be this dry - the forecast seems to be sunshine for the foreseeable future. I am going to associate the lockdown with bright sunny days. Which seems just weird.

Finished mulching. And got to grips with other things that needed to be done. It’s been a good day.
