A very cross bird

I have always thought that this house is ours. The blue tit had other ideas. It seemed very cross.

I was standing by our front door, camera in hand. Above my head tree bumblebees have set up shop. They leave, sleek things. They return plump with the pollen brushes on their legs covered in yellow pollen (extras).

Whilst standing by the door, this blue tit on the Japanese Maple made it clear that my presence was not welcome. Are they using the nest box ? That I am not so sure about, although this behaviour suggests they might be.
