Our Kind Neighbours...

....Have given us a bag of these rather large onions..we share just about all our fruit and vegetables around here, and our Tongan neighbours do things in a big way, whether it's oranges, vegetables or whatever, they are so kind as are the others...

They love our nectarines and oranges, and peaches as well, but we still have so many.nectarines..John will definitely be pruning the tree when the time comes this year...
We would be rather proud to grow an onion this size (!) one would possibly last us a week....I put the fork and knife there to give you some perspective of the size.
"Just for cooking Stella" our neighbour said. I hope they will last a while..the bag was BIG!!
