Day 35: Raiders Of The Lost Car Park
With apologies to Robert Rankin.
I ventured out to Pueblo Nuevo this afternoon. I needed to go to Lidl, and the Overseas supermarket to get such essential supplies as apple sauce and jelly babies.
It was like one of those films, where the hero wakes up to find he's the only person left in the world.
Not quite, but nearly.
I passed barely half a dozen cars on the 10 kilometre drive and even fewer on the way back.
When I reached the underground carpark at Lidl it was empty. Normally on a Saturday afternoon it would be packed.
We have just had confirmation that our stringent lockdown conditions are extended to at least May 10.
No surprise there then.
