Another cloudless, blue skied day....

hot and sunny! Found the first local Violets, same day as last year. Down at the river, here at the old bridge, saw Grey Wagtails, Dippers, Goldeneye, Goosanders and the first Ducklings with their mother.
In the extra, is the new squirrel feeder given to me by a neighbours wee girl. She persuaded her Granda to make it for me to say thank you. I doubted that the squirrels would like it, but was delighted to watch this little fellow tucking in this morning. The wee girl was pleased when I showed her the photo!
