Chillier than it looked

This was the nearest we got to the sea on our walk today. Note the white horses whipped by another very pesky easterly chill. We walked round Brunstane Farm where 1200 homes are scheduled to be built. At the moment this field is a blur of wild flowers and the couch grass is alive with nesting larks - some darting skywards and caught stunningly in the bright spring sunlight.

There are four Fred Olsen cruise liners at anchor waiting for the Covid-19 storm to pass. Two are visible in this blip.

We sat in our garden in the afternoon sun in out of the easterly breeze. Later we met our immediate neighbours for socially distanced drinks over the garden walls.
