He’s home!

On March 30th and 31st I blipped about some dear friends of ours who were stuck on a cruise ship. Since then they’ve been fighting to get home. It’s a long story, an appalling litany of errors, buck passing, poor communication and ineptitude but ultimately, today it has ended successfully. Partha has finally returned home to join Marian who was forced on to a flight from Miami without him, 10 days ago. He has suffered double pneumonia and been in isolation in a hotel with only the clothes on his back for 12 days! And this morning, thanks to the combined efforts of his three children, and more than a pinch of good luck, he’s back home where he belongs. Welcome back!
