So today we went back and walked around the property they liked with the nice neighbours and after discussions about apartments I actually managed to get a viewing for mill apartment this afternoon.
It was very nice. Like walking into a hotel! And there was the problem! Hotels are great for a short stay over on holiday but not for calling home. It was really good that they had the chance to see one and rule it off!

After lots of discussions, Cathie and I managed to convince mom and dad to stay an extra day and arrange a second viewing of the first property they saw. When we managed to get them past the outlandish decor they discovered that perhaps it did have a lot of what they were looking for and liked!!!
