Early apples
I've got quite a number of dwarf apple trees in my tiny garden: 10 actually, plus a crab apple, 3 pears, a plum, a damson, and a fig.
This is "Rosette", the earliest of them. It's a small red apple, with marbled red flesh, and it's often ready at the end of August, if the summer has been favourable.
The others are in full bud, and about to burst forth, but this one is always first.
Extra is one of the bug "hotels". I don't think it has had many of the hoped-for guests! Looks like it's got a squatter!
