Morning light

6.7C bright to start, duller into the afternoon with wind picking up. Rain forecast for later and starting around 2pm.

Had to go to the Dentist first thing. A small filling came out recently and today was the appointment to begin the drawn out procedure to replace it. Dentists seem to be good at creating a series of appointments.

This is the third time this filling has fallen out. Last time I saw my own dentist who, to my shock and delight, replaced the filling right there and then. Today was like the first time. No time to do the job, just a dressing with an appointment to replace the filling in three weeks time. Two visits for one job. Makes no sense at all since I described the problem when I contacted the practise last week. Such is the lot of the dental patient when there are not enough NHS dentists.

I like my dentist. Not that it helps :-)

On the way home from the dentist's I went to Westhaven. Rain was forecast for the afternoon so I though I should make the best of the bright morning. Maeve the Deerhound and I wandered about on the beach and around the Fishermen's huts and the boats for a while.

Maeve and I went out for a walk around lunchtime to avoid the rain. Lunch on our return. I didn't take a camera so we wouldn't stop anywhere to take photos, just plugged the iPod in for some music on the go :-)
