Today would have been Eric’s 77th birthday.

A bit late getting out of bed this morning. I had woken up at 7am but had fallen asleep again. I decided to go for a run straight away but my legs were a bit sore and I shouldn’t have really gone because they were even more sore when I got back. It was a really nice day but a bit windy. I spent most of the day working but had some time in the garden as well. Ibi and Penny had ordered some clothes from some new clothes web site and they have been eagerly awaiting the delivery for days. Today, the clothes arrived and they were very excited.  
In the afternoon, Jack and I saw that there were two of Penny’s home made scones left so we decided to have one each. The clotted cream pot was nearly empty so I bought some more when I went to Co-op. After eating one and a half scone, I came to the conclusion that the cream didn’t taste too good. I went to the fridge to check the date and it was best before 10th April. It was 10 days out of date. Jack and I did feel a little sick later on but it eventually passed. 
In the evening, I had a whatsapp video chat with Graham and Neeta. Not quite the same as going to the pub but still good to catch up.
