Calla Lily

This fine healthy-looking plant belongs to Miss Flum. It was given to her in a glass pot/vase - very pretty but with no drainage - and eventually succumbed to whatever condition it disliked. It was left here in the utility room, with the other plants that have no permanent home and remained thus for quite some time, until I decided to clear out the pot to wash it, only to find the rhizome had one or two tiny shoots.

So, while I was potting-on the Amaryllis, I plonked the rhizome in a proper pot with fresh compost, you can see the beginnings of new growth in an earlier blip.

I think it's happy now, so she can have it back.
