Angel With Dirty Face

This one sits above the west doorway of St John's Church in Glastonbury, which I blipped just before Christmas, and commemorates the date of some restoration work needed when the tower was in danger of collapse due to subsidence.

Had to go over to Glastonbury this afternoon to collect some post for our friends who are now in Vietnam on their retirement trip. Back to grey, wet & windy weather today after yesterday's blue, perfect for breadbaking, making stock from the bones of yesterday's roast (very tasty, thank you!) and more school job admin.
