The Bagel Has Landed!

(or bagels to be precise)

Heavy overnight rain had saturated and closed the golf course and the Tuesday round was cancelled which meant it was indoor playtime this morning, so I thought I'd have a go at making bagels for the first time. As I was making soup at the same time, the kitchen did resemble a disaster area by the time I'd finished. Haven't tasted these yet, but they do look a bit like bagels, at least!

Off to Huish Park this evening to watch The Glovers take on MK Dons. Hope the Dons are still recovering from the excitement (they're too professional for it to be hangovers, I fear) of beating QPR in the FA Cup at the weekend
