Lockdown: Day 29

A sunny and breezy morning. Perfect for washing bedding and drying it on the line.

After lunch a walk around Stock Ghyll falls. Crossing the lower bridge I spotted this heron. I'm sure I've never seen one up here before.

Very quiet again. There were only 6 other people in the woods and again the lack of background traffic noise was noticeable. The only disturbance to the peace was RAF jets practicing low flying.

The wild garlic on the roadside is flowering but in the shade of the woods there are only a few buds. Bluebells and celandine added splashes of colour.
