Today I tried Zoom for the first time for work.

I've been thinking about the naming of the software, for which no information seems to be given. The word 'zoom' itself is of recent origin, the 19th century, and also is of echoic origin. It started to be used by aviators to mean 'move or travel very quickly.' As a native speaker of another language I would rather use other onomatopoeia to describe a similar movement.
