Monday
Back into the old routine today, having missed work last Monday due to seeing Tom off to Uni, it was to the shop this afternoon.
Not a lot of new stuff had turned up for listing, but there were one or two interesting items including a pamphlet of Philip Larkin poems selected by Harold Pinter, a limited edition of 300 published in 2002 it has now increased in value considerably.
During a break I took a look at the IT related books on the shelf, and noticed a nice selection on digital photography. I wondered if people bought these books and reached about page ten then decided they should be out there taking photos rather than in the house reading about taking photos, though I know some of them are processing books also, though in my experience, experimentation is the best teacher in that area.
I bought one of the shop's books a while ago - Photoshop Elements 6 for Dummies, for the grand price of £2.50 determined to delve into the nooks and crannies of that software package which I have but very rarely use. I'm ashamed to say it has stayed on the shelf at home ever since I bought it; one day...........
