Spiders and an alien

Today's culinary efforts. We had to make one without strawberry laces for Toby as he can't stand the smell of them, never mind the taste! Eva is going to write some instructions for how to make them for this week's school project.

Buddy needed the farrier this morning so I was at the yard for most of the morning (apart from our PE session with Joe Wicks). I also lunged Jack in the big school but working on big circles and letting him canter down the long side whilst I ran, much better for his legs and good to get both our heart rates up. He's such a fun little pony. Kids had been set work to do on-line and Mike did a map and compass reading session with them in his tea break!

Had a chat with the accountant and she is sorting out claiming the 80% back for our furloughed employees on our behalf which is a big relief as i was worrying about how easy it would be to do. Nothing with HMRC is ever straight forward in my experience but she said the money takes 6 days to come through so we'll see!

Eva came back to do pm stables with me. Jack so pleased to see her. He really loves her. She did some practice leading him round in the lunge pen getting him to stop and start when she wanted. When he'd had enough he decided to lie down and have a roll!
