Provost lamp - Bridge-of-Allan

The snow has all but gone and it's raining.

(Difficult blip conditions.)

So here is one of our local landmarks- the Provosts lamp, which was restored a few years ago.

The lamp would in days past have been erected outside the house of Bridge of Allan's Provost (Mayor).


Today it is now permanently located at the Cross-, the hub of Victorian Bridge of Allan, and it is listed on the tourist trail of the town.
