Get well soon David

Caught an early flight to Gatwick, then got another flight and arrived in Guernsey at lunch time. We went straight up to the hospital to see my brother David. This felt like one of the hardest things I have ever done as we did not really know what to expect.

He has had an extensive bleed to the right hand side of his brain, which has caused significant weakness to his left hand side. In reality this means he has no movement or sensation all down his left hand side. So he doesn't have enough strength to move himself much at the moment. However he is able to talk a bit, although it is hard for him. But it is clear he still has his personality and sense of humour, which is a great relief.
