How Nice

The necessary evil that is shopping had to be done today.
God, but I hate people.
Especially stupid ones.
You know the ones …….. the ones that wear a mask round the shop - until they get to the checkout when they take it off to speak to the operator…… the ones that lean over you to grab something off a shelf as you bend down to get something from the lower shelf.

Even the birds have more sense...…… going singly - pretending they are not sunbathing and making sure they social distance.

I think the Council should take the hint being given by nature and continue not cutting the verges ……………. the flowers are loving it. (This was on a verge that you are normally lucky to see a daisy or dandelion on because it gets cut so regularly).

We got a phone call from Bags in the late afternoon, she was out for a walk with the monsters …. so we nipped down to the playing fields and had a chat with bags ………. and a game of frisbee with the monsters (all nice and easy to achieve while remaining socially distant). It was much nicer than a video chat.

I think the entire street was out clapping and banging pots (well, the kids were banging pots) this evening...…. which ties in quite well with the lead picture …………….. 25,000 names being given thanks by their employer (the names are the 'shading' within the letters).
