Clap for Carers

There was a minutes silence today for a 49 year old chap who worked in intensive care at the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle. He died after contracting Covid-19, he leaves his wife and four children.

I know two front line nurses, both qualified last year, Megan and Ginnie, one of them has had and recovered from covid-19.  My claps today were particularly for them, very brave ladies, giving their all for the NHS, and in my opinion they and others who work on the front line, the true heroes of this crisis.
