#uniform4uniforms
It’s not very often you get to see ‘me’ I definitely prefer to be the other side of the camera but seeing as this has been the main event of the last 5 weeks I thought I had better record it. So here I am wearing my Guiding Uniform as part of #uniform4uniforms. I popped a post up on the Brownie page asking them to clap in their uniform too, not sure if any did.
It was a stunning day, the best so far with no wind at all and a pleasant temperature although it did get a bit too hot at mid day.
I planted out the leeks amazing that they actually look like teeny leeks already and all from a tiny black, pinprick sized seed.
Exciting bird life encounters with a pair of Black caps in the trees near the burn, a heron flying over, a long skein of geese and mating blue tits and chaffinch. Annoyingly a starling has been looking in the nest box the bluetits are using, hope he does not put them off.The dunnock and the sparrows are collecting nesting material. The sparrow took in a huge white feather.
I painted the front of my Hobby house which looks so much better, it will need another coat tomorrow.
The Cosmos and turnips seedlings are up !
In the evening we watched The Big Night in which was very funny and raised a lot of money :)
