My daffs in pots seem to have been flowering for ages and should be well done by now but not it seems. These little beauties opened a couple of days ago. I followed Monty Don's advice and planted them in layers in a deep pot and it's been a triumph even though I say so myself! Thanks for the tip Monty!

In other news, this is the closest I've got yet to mastering the pesky macro lens and this isn't even a macro shot. Small aperture, no even smaller... that's the key despite every fibre of my being screaming at me to shoot wide open like I normally do! One day I'll get it right.
