Another Side To The City
After doing my bit for the Vienna tourist board for the last few weeks, I feel duty bound to show that it's not all architecture and statues... like any city it has its darker corners (literally and figuratively). After a week of using public transport I belatedly discovered how to walk from the flat to the office and back. I say belatedly as I'm out of this flat tomorrow, and back to hotels until we find the next one.
Anyway, the route took me alongside a railway line, with lots of little arches and underpasses like this one. I didn't see anything untoward going on apart from the usual city graffiti, so I wouldn't go as far as to call it seedy. Maybe 'moody'...?
