Rustic Door

I took a different route up to Pickering castle on the morning walk with the dog. Amazing sometimes what you see that you've never seen before. One street up from the route I usually take and you get an old barn door that looks like it belongs deep in the countryside, not just up the road from a high street in a market town.

Today I finished (barring a bit of writing up) my fourth photography assignment. Toughest one yet. I spent the afternoon sorting through over 300 shots of a Gollum figurine trying to work out which ones best depicted shape, form, texture and colour. I've gone Gollum-blind. I've seen more Gollum in one day than Peter Jackson...
