Reflections Of Life
I focused on the upside down reflection of reeds in the still water, allowing patches of algae and other plant debris on the surface to be soft. The resulting image is both literally and metaphorically a reflection of life upside down.
At 359mm the field of view isolates a small section of the bigger picture, simplifying and reducing the elements to only those necessary. Isolation, a word currently much used, I also heard this process referred to as extraction, which puzzled me at first until I realised it meant extracting small scenes from a larger landscape. Possibly, that's also what blipfoto is about?
