Boxing Day

After breakfast it was time to pack up and head down the road to Penrith for 2nd Christmas. Mum, Dad and Uncle B were also heading back up the country from Christmas at my sister's. Christmas #2 was going to be at Centre Parcs so I'd arranged with my sister that we'd sort the shopping. By the time we were done, I thought I'd check in on the family's progress. As it worked out, they were close enough to meet us for a coffee at Sainsburys which gave us a chance to catch up briefly with Uncle B as well.

The picture, as we were leaving G's family there was mention of things they were getting rid of. A coffee table G liked and a washing machine. Ours is over 10 years old (in the flat when we moved in) has been fixed once and nearly died twice. It's a faff to replace as it's shallower than standard, but as it turned out, so is the machine they're getting rid of! Now just to find a time and some hands to help collect it.
