(The Kinks, 1965) Ye gods, is that really fifty-five years ago!
But it really is a bit too hot to take you out for a walk at the moment, Chloe.
We waited until this evening and it was a little cooler before going for a decent walk and stopped a couple of times for more chats. 
In between we played scrabble, gardened, pottered, spoke to the family (on Facebook) and some neighbours and generally filled the day.
I just looked out the back door to see what the sunset looked like (not much!) and spotted (see today’s extra) this skinny little moon hanging very low in the west.
