It was an uneventful ride this morning but rather chilly as the sun did not appear to warm things up as it has on previous mornings this week.
I spent most of the day on the Bentley headlights as when I looked at them closely the head light lenses were loose and needed resealing. So I stripped the whole lot down to there constituent parts cleaned them  sprayed the cowls and in etching primer and undercoat. It's great painting when it's so hot as the paint drys amazingly quickly. At the end of the day the lights looked great ready for a rub down and topcoat.
I also rubbed down my colour match swatch that Ros will be posting off to the mixers on Monday.
I also managed to make a small tool which protects the rivets on the bonnet as I flat back the undercoat. Without care the undercoat can be taken off the protruding rivets and my little tool prevents this. It worked well as my last job of the day was flatting back the nearside bonnet.
