Today my youngest brother turned 70; he celebrated in social isolation, with his wife, in Bend. I had a nice talk with him; it's always good to get his perspective. It's a relief in fact, because he does his homework, so to speak; knows a lot of facts. He's a scientist and should have been a science teacher; has been, I guess, because he has always been my science teacher. Scientist with a big, generous heart.
We picked up take-away from Banh Mi Up, just over a half mile walk from here, and stretched it into lunch and dinner. Later we sat in the yard, moving our chairs around for the best light and sun.
