Chapel at the U of P

The University of Portland is just one mile from our place and we walk to it, or beyond it, or even down and  back up to it sometimes, by walking down to the Willamette River and along the railroad track there.
When my mother would stay with us, I'd take her to mass at this chapel on campus. It was always a little heartbreaking, because not much would've made her happier than for all of her kids to still be Catholic right along with her.
