Lockdown Day 34 - "Can you ride Tandem"

Last day of the exceptional weather we have been having in this part of the world.  We grabbed the tandem and rode out into the Staffordshire countryside for morning exercise.  We've owned a tandem for more than 20 years so you might say that this is a bit of a classic now.  It has seen better days and is in need of a service, which we will try to get done in the next couple of weeks if we can find a suitable bike shop.  

It was a lovely ride and while in the past we would have broken the ride at a pub, that wasn't an option today, though we did find that a local farm shop was open and will be worth a trip out for provisions next week.

The weather turned much cloudier in the afternoon, with odd spots of rain drumming on the conservatory roof, but we didn't get the heavy showers forecast.

And as for the title?  Well it is a throw back to 1971.
