Make him better

More waiting and calling Mum for news about Dad as doctors and consultants worked with him. He had a brain scan in the morning followed by a heart scan in the afternoon and finally by the evening they said he could go home. He’s still got a way to go but so much better than he was and just being back home with Mum in his own house will hopefully help him recover.
He already seemed in better spirits when I spoke to him, although he is clearly quite shocked and frightened by the experience and wondering how this might change the way he lives in future.
I do hope they’ll be able to continue their active lives and the things they enjoy most and hopefully this is just a blip along the way.
