Foam vs Snow

I have been rather envious of all your beautiful snow shots of late........today we had Foam....and I think It had the envious quality of being warm rather than cold........however perhaps not as pretty and it did have the pungent fragrance of fish.
The Ocean looked like a HUGE Bubble Bath

It was so much fun ....and it was really sticky so it stuck to every ones feet making us all look like Hobbits....the dogs were not immune.

It was like another world on the beach..... the foam looking like clouds made if feel rather surreal and the photos I took of the huge waves crashing on the rocks looked like milk.

The silence woke me really early this morning....before sunrise...couldn't even hear a peep from a little bird or anything...It felt a bit spooky and I was wondering if we had entered the eye. The sun rose and it was like a very innocent and happy hello from it........

.... the Cyclone had tired itself out...well around here anyway.....still there are people that still do not have electricity and or any type of communication and the fall out is rather immense with huge trees that have fallen down over roads and on properties around the area....to put it mildly the place is a bloody mess.

It reminds me of a teenagers party....everyone had a fabulous time being wild and fierce ....but boy there is a huge job to clean up.
