From the Golden Light

Walking down the streets I passed again from this tree and found a branch with flowers at face level. I haven't got a clue about the name of this tree and its flowers; the flowers do remind me of azalea's but I doubt if these are.

Doyley suggested to me the name of this tree and a picture on internet affirms that's right... a Bauhinia Variegata Orchid Tree
