Psiloritis on the horizon
Getting out on the street here I spotted Crete's highest mountain Psiloritis in the distance, what is really a rare view from here in Chania; the air is really very clean and clear today! And in the extra the Levka Ori what are much closer to home.
This mountain Psiloritis (Mount Ida where Zeus was raised by the goat Amalthea) is surely 120 kms away from where I saw it this eve... in order to see it you'd watch this photo in Large. It's high alright but a little faint in colour here.... it's in the middle of this photo above the houses of Chania; that black and white ( snow) slope of 2456 mtrs hight, so watch Large.
And ofcourse thank you all lots on yesterday's flowers in the tree! Doyley from Aussie suggested me that the flowers are named Bauhinia and she's right! In Greek they're named Orchid Tree... thank you all lots for co-thinking!
