Bumble Bee on Berberis.

A cooler and duller day than we have had for weeks.  The cue for aa day of inside jobs and not working too hard physically.  Which is just as well as the repetitive nature of what I did indoors has made my arm ache.

Thinking about blip I took a few shots of birds using my usual bird settings which generally gives a high ISO.  The shots can be a bit noisy but with birds I don't mind.  While I was watching for birds this Bumble Bee started to work its way around the Berberis flowers.  I liked the shot better than any of the bird shots.

I am not up on insects but I think this may be a Buff tailed Bumble Bee but others will correct me if I am wrong.
