Bears

Today is Wednesday and two weeks since we left our lovely refuge at Waihi Beach to begin the long and arduous trip back home. A trip that altogether took 32 hours door to door flying from Auckland to Doha and eventually another flight on to London. Phoof, l wont be doing that again in a hurry. This also ends my little retrospective and tomorrow l will have to cast my eye over the London landscape.

In New Zealand the "Bear Hunt" was started as a way to give interest to children when out for their daily walk/exercise. All over the country bears were placed in windows and it was fun to see how many bears could be found.
Each day as we walked along the beach we would see these two huge bears, always in a different position, l liked this one as they sat taking in the sunny view, although as a photo it is pretty awful.

The extra is a very deserted Auckland airport as we flew out.
