Mr and Mrs

I heard the “teacher teacher” call of the great tit. A bit out of sight. Then the other bird flew out of the bird box and landed on the fence. And he then joined her, they touched beaks, and then both flew off.

Both birds seem identical, but as can be seen here they are not. On the left, he is larger, a bit of a tough nut, with a head that seems differently shaped. And just a hint of a punk hairstyle on top. She is smaller, and much sleeker.

I think there may be eggs.
