lush and green today, although a dampish sort of day, the sort that really wets you when you decide it's not enough to put your hood up!
Here at this lochan, there were Primroses, Wood Anemones, Wood Sorrel and Water Avens. There was a lot of bird song from Coal Tits , Wrens, various Warblers, all good to hear.
Met an old friend striding out, heading for the viewpoint and regretting not being able to get to the high tops - he's 95! Quite a guy! Said he was under strict instructions to get back for lunch promptly at 1200 from his 92 year old wife!
