Scavenger Hunt #2

After work, I got Ethan to come out in a bike ride with me. One o the parkrun groups I’m in has started setting a weekly scavenger hunt challenge for people to do whilst out and about going out daily exercise. I wanted to go out to West Calder to try to find some of the items and knew Ethan wouldn’t run that far with her, so bikes it was.

We had to find (and take a selfie of ourselves with the items) -

Police vehicle
Fir Tree
Hopscotch
Rope
Goals
Brick chimney
Concrete bollard
Brown road sign
Private
Conservatory

Sadly the police station at West Calder didn’t have any police vehicles in the vicinity! I was also not having much luck finding rope and Ethan was starting to whinge that his hands were cold (to be fair it’s the first day the weather had turned and it was cold)! Decided to try a different route home to avoid the A71 area and found a path going from the new High School to Polbeth by the river. Low and behold, someone had made a rope swing from a tree en route! Dropped Ethan back home and I carried on down to the Civic Centre to get my police vehicle selfie.

16lm later I was finished and back home!
