Happy May Day.

The Best May Day present we could have.
A visit from our two granddaughters with homemade scones.
So wonderful to see them both, and have a brief chat before it started raining.
The scones were delicious. Ate them all with our afternoon tea.
Thank you soooooooo much.

Hannah has just finished her first two day, 12 hour shifts, in the neonatal ward. Saw her first C-Section too. Taking it all in her stride.
I think she is back again on Sunday.

Had another nice surprise in the post.
A free TV Licence to the 31st July.
Not sure what happens after that.

Then a WhatsApp video with our friends in South Africa.
They are having much harder than us. Not allowed out at all except to go shopping.  Dog walks are just round the garden. Not the best with a huge Great Dane.

Today has been cloudy with just a few glimpses of sunshine, and a few showers.
Not sure what the weekend weather will be, but enjoy it whatever.
